The Jersey Shore Partnership hosted an Annual Holiday Reception for its supporters at Charlie’s Bay Head. Event sponsors were New Jersey Resources, Jersey Central Power & Light, Brinkerhoff Environmental Solutions, and OceanFirst Foundation. The event was an opportunity for Board members to enjoy an evening with our Ocean County partners in shore protection.

Elected officials that attended included State Senator Sam Thompson; Ocean County Freeholder Joe Vicari; Mayor Robert Matthies, Seaside Heights, and his wife Bonnie; and Mayor Bob Campbell, Downe Township.

The Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District is currently implementing a beach replenishment project from the Manasquan Inlet to Barnegat Inlet. Two Corps representatives from the Philadelphia district joined us for the Reception.
