• US Army Corps of Engineers Reports on Work Completed

    The Philadelphia District of the Army Corps has been working restore previously constructed beach replenishment projects in New Jersey since Sandy. The Corps manages missions in New Jersey south of Manasquan Inlet. The following beaches are completed:

    Avalon Long Beach Island at Harvey Cedars, Surf City and Brant Beach (34-57 streets)

    Absecon Island – work completed at Atlantic City; ongoing at Ventnor

    Brigantine

    Cape May City – ongoing

    Long Beach Island at Harvey Cedars, Surf City and Brant Beach (34-57 streets)

    Lower Cape May Meadows – periodic nourishment work completed

    North Ocean City

    Stone Harbor
